For more than 10 years, Kim has also served the Teton County community through the Teton County Health Department's Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinic, providing care to community members who lack insurance or consistent access to healthcare. This work reflects her core belief that quality care should not be a privilege, and her dedication to showing up for those who need it most.

Kim arrived in Jackson in 2006 from her home state of Oregon, drawn by her love of the outdoors and the mountains. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing in the Tetons, and you can often find her at an outdoor concert in the summer. In 2024, she completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Home Yoga, deepening her commitment to holistic wellness both for herself and her patients.

JJ Kascoli, Office Manager

I was born and raised in Utah for 19 years. Moved to Connecticut for a Year and a half, and Moved to Jackson in 2000. I have been here since. I am the 2nd of 5 in my family, My family Heritage is Navajo, Apache, and Irish.

When I lived in CT it was to help Care Give, and because I had never been to the east coast, I thought it would be a fun adventure. I have been in the Retail business since 1998. Working for GAP inc, in AZ, UT, CT, and WY. ( Yes, Jackson used to have a GAP on the square) I moved on to Working for a High end Leather and Fur store. One called Overland, and the other Sitka Fur Gallery. I also started helping out at the Moose Hockey games for 5 years now. GOOOOO MOOOOOSE!

I started working with Charlotte, Amy, and Kim at the end of January of 2024. Amy I had known from Jackson Rodeo and Bingo at the Elks Club, and Charlotte has been my Practitioner for over 13 years. I wanted to break away from retail and learn something new. So far it has been a great learning experience, and It has been wonderful meeting new people in Jackson.

What is a nurse practitioner?

Nurse practitioners (NPs) have provided health-care services to patients for more than 50 years. NPs are registered nurses (RNs) who are prepared, through advanced education and clinical training, to provide preventive and acute health-care services to individuals of all ages and are qualified to meet the majority of patients' health-care needs.

They promote a comprehensive approach to health care and emphasize the overall health and wellness of their patients. Our nurse practitioners have completed a graduation that is a master's or doctorate degree. They are able to diagnose health issues, order diagnostic testing, and prescribe medications. Any medical condition that cannot be treated or requires a medical specialty will be referred to the best available consults.

What is an annual exam and why do I need one?

No matter your age or stage of life, yearly physical exams ( also known as Wellness Exams) are essential to your lifelong health.  Regular preventive care is one of the best ways to identify and treat health issues before they worsen. These visits also help you track your progress toward your health goals. We assess your overall physical, mental and social health, update vaccines, recommend appropriate cancer screenings, and evaluate screening lab work and address any concerning findings. This allows us to help you to stay healthy.

How is a Women's Heath visit different than an annual exam?

A Women's Health visit is an annual exam that includes a clinical breast exam and pelvic exam. Pap smears are screening tests for cervical cancer that are recommended every 1-5 years depending on age and prior test results. Even though we don't generally perform a pap smear every year, an annual Women's Health exam is still recommended for women age 21 and older.
